With a strong reputation and commitment to service excellence, they are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead their finance function and provide strategic financial guidance to the Executive team.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead the organisation's financial operations while managing and mentoring a small finance team. This is a broad and hands-on leadership position that combines strategic oversight with day-to-day financial management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Preparing monthly Board reports, financial statements and management reporting
- Managing payroll, superannuation, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Overseeing audit, compliance, taxation and statutory reporting obligations
- Providing financial analysis, risk management and business insights
- Managing insurance programmes and actuarial reporting requirements
- Driving continuous improvement of financial systems, policies and procedures
- Developing and supporting finance staff to achieve high-quality outcomes
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will be a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys operating across both strategic and operational finance.
You will possess:
- CA or CPA qualification
- Demonstrated experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Finance role
- Strong financial reporting, budgeting and compliance expertise
- Experience leading and developing teams
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems such as Xero
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to influence decision-making through insightful financial analysis
