Part-Time Receptionist – Hobart Studio

10 hours per week | Wednesday & Thursday | $27–$28 per hour

Advanced Hair Studio is looking for a friendly, professional and reliable Receptionist to join our Hobart Studio.

The Role

Working closely with our Studio team, you will be the friendly first point of contact for our clients and help keep the day-to-day running of the studio organised and efficient.

Your hours will be:

- Wednesday: 9:00am – 2:00pm

- Thursday: 1:00pm – 6:00pm

- 10 hours per week

What you'll be doing

- Welcoming clients and providing a warm, professional reception experience

- Answering telephone enquiries and managing appointments

- Providing general administration and office support

- Handling payments, cash and receipting

- Liaising with clients, team members and management

- Keeping the studio organised and assisting with general studio tasks

- Maintaining client confidentiality and professionalism at all times





- Helping create a positive and welcoming environment for every client

About You

We're looking for someone who is personable, organised and dependable, with a genuine focus on providing great customer service.

You'll ideally have:

- Previous experience in reception, administration, customer service or a similar role

- Excellent communication skills and a confident, professional telephone manner

- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills

- The ability to work independently and take initiative

- A friendly, approachable and professional personality

- Experience handling payments and cash

- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office

- A high level of discretion and respect for client confidentiality
