About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Technology Operations Manager to lead the on-site Technology team at a major South Australian mining operation.

As a Technology Operations Manager, you will provide leadership to a multidisciplinary technology team responsible for maintaining and supporting critical operational technology and IT infrastructure that enables safe, reliable and efficient mining operations.
This is a highly visible leadership role where you will drive operational excellence, champion safety, develop people and ensure the reliability of technology systems supporting a large-scale mining operation.

Key Responsibilities
As the Technology Operations Manager, you will:

- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing technology team while fostering a positive and inclusive culture.
- Promote a strong safety-first mindset and ensure compliance with safety and risk management practices.
- Oversee the maintenance, reliability and availability of critical IT and Operational Technology (OT) systems.
- Manage technology operations including:
- Industrial Control Systems
- Operational Technology (OT)
- Industrial Networks
- Radio Communications
- CCTV & Security Systems
- Compute Infrastructure
- End User Computing Services

- Coordinate and lead responses to technology incidents, outages and major service interruptions.
- Build strong working relationships with operational, maintenance and technical stakeholders across site.
- Partner with project delivery teams to successfully implement and integrate new technologies.




- Ensure work management processes are effectively executed to maximise equipment reliability and operational performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, productivity and technology performance.
- Support delivery of the site's operational and strategic objectives.

About You

- Proven experience leading large operational or technical teams.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor and develop others.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Experience managing competing priorities within a rapid-paced operational environment.
- Sound decision-making, problem-solving and incident management capability.
- Strong understanding of safety leadership and operational risk management.
