Woods & Co are working with a well established builder delivering both commercial and high end residential projects, in the search for a Finishes Foreman/Supervisor to join their team. This role will sit across a mix of luxury apartments and bespoke custom homes.
This is a hands on site based role suited to someone who takes genuine pride in quality and presentation, while also having the experience and confidence to supervise a site, coordinate trades and keep a project moving through to completion.
This role would suit an experienced Finishes Foreman looking to take on broader site responsibilities, or a Site Supervisor with a strong understanding of high end finishes on luxury apartment builds.
The Role
You'll play a key role in overseeing the day to day running of the site, with a particular focus on the mid and final stages and ensuring the completed project is delivered to an exceptional standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising day to day site operations and coordinating trades
- Managing subcontractors through the final stages
- Coordinating final finishes, defects, QA, handover and presentation
- Maintaining exceptional standards of quality and workmanship
- Reading and interpreting architectural and construction drawings
- Managing site programs and ensuring works remain on schedule
- Identifying and resolving site issues before they impact the project
- Ensuring site safety and overall presentation
- Working closely with PM's, Site Managers, clients and subcontractors
About You
We're looking for someone with a strong background in the apartment space, particularly across high end designs. Experience across luxury custom homes or similarly detailed projects will also be beneficial.
You'll ideally have:
- A carpentry background
- Previous experience as a Finishes Foreman, Site Supervisor, or Foreman
- Robust knowledge of high end finishes and residential construction
- Experience supervising trades and managing day to day site operations
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control
- The ability to coordinate multiple trades and manage competing priorities
- A proactive, hands on approach to problem solving
- A genuine pride in delivering a high quality end product
