The role:
You will work across a varied portfolio of Australian businesses, preparing and reviewing:
- Financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole traders
- Income tax returns, BAS,
IAS and FBT returns
- Tax planning and general business advisory matters
- Div 7A, CGT and FBT calculations with senior support
- Management reports, budgets and cash flow forecasts
- Client queries and ATO correspondence
You will also have the opportunity to build stronger client relationships and develop your advisory skills beyond traditional compliance.
About you:
To be successful, you will have:
- 3+ years’ experience within an Australian public practice accounting firm
- Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for a range of entities
- Commenced or completed CA/CPA studies (preferred)
- Solid communication skills and a genuine interest in working with clients
- A desire to continue developing technically and progress your career
