Based in Arndell Park (near Blacktown), we are looking for an Ocean Export Operator to join our team. This is a full time (on-site) permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with export bookings and shipment coordination
- Liaise with shipping lines, co-loaders, transport providers and customers
- Monitor shipment milestones and container movements
- Lodging EDNS and PRAs
- Support export documentation and operational processes
- Assist with Bills of Lading, pre-alerts and customer communication
- Update shipment information within Cargowise and internal systems
- Work closely with the broader operations team
- Invoice clients for services provided
To be successful in this role:
- Minimum 1 - 2 years’ experience
- Previous exposure to ocean freight operations or international freight forwarding
- Strong communication skills including verbal and written
- A desire to expand your knowledge of international ocean freight operations
- Enjoy working in a quick-paced environment
- Takes pride in providing a high level of customer service
- Excellent level of attention to detail and organisation skills
- Able to work as part of a team
- Exposure to Cargowise system, an advantage but not essential
