Are you a hands-on field professional or science graduate looking to step into a rewarding role with a South Australian Government department? We are seeking a proactive Field Technician to join an active team delivering critical water sampling and environmental testing services across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Water Sampling & Analysis: Perform field sampling and chemical titrations (pH, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, and chlorine) to meet contract compliance and maintain strong client satisfaction.
- Equipment & Data Management: Operate, calibrate, and maintain technical field equipment to ensure exact data collection and quality control.
- Route Rotations & Skill Expansion: Work within a collaborative team structure,
rotating across routes and adopting contemporary testing methodologies.
Key Requirements
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of water industry field services, sampling protocols, and analytical techniques.
- Education: A Diploma or Degree in Science (or a related discipline)
- Licence Requirements: Current Australian Driver's Licence (Class C). Confidence operating manual 4x4 vehicles in field conditions is preferred.
- Attributes: Strong team player, sharp attention to detail, and a positive, proactive attitude.
