About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our team in Echuca, VIC. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst allowing you to make a genuine difference in the lives of our participants. As a Support Worker, you will provide essential support to individuals living with a disability, helping them maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life. This role is fundamental to delivering high-quality care and support that enables our participants to engage fully in their communities.

What you'll be doing

- Providing personal care assistance.

- Providing emotional support and companionship, fostering meaningful relationships with clients.

- Maintaining accurate records of support provided and any changes in client needs or wellbeing.

- Promoting independence.

- Communicating effectively with team members, clients and their families.

- Following health and safety protocols, safeguarding procedures and organisational policies.





What we're looking for

- A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships.

- Physical capability to assist with personal care and mobility support.

- Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Willingness to undertake training and comply with relevant legislation and policies.

- A valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).

- A Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.

- Desirable: Qualifications such as a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent

- Desirable: First Aid and CPR certification
