MKS Group is a growing accounting and business advisory practice trusted by a diverse range of small-to-medium business clients across Australia. We work closely with our clients, including a well-established franchise network, to deliver practical advice, not just compliance box-ticking. As we grow, we're after an Intermediate Accountant who wants more than a seat at a desk.

What You'll Be Doing

- Preparing financial statements, tax returns,



and management reports for a range of SME clients

- Owning client relationships with confidence, clarity, and professionalism

- Working extensively within Xero to deliver compliance and advisory services

- Explaining financial information to clients in plain, easy-to-understand terms with no jargon

- Contributing to client strategy and business advisory conversations, not just the numbers behind them

- Ensuring compliance with relevant tax and accounting standards

You'll Thrive Here If You...

- Have at least 3 years experience working with small-to-medium business clients in public practice

- Communicate with confidence which means you can explain financial concepts clearly to clients who aren't accountants

- Know Xero inside and out

- Are comfortable across the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

- Are CA or CPA qualified, or working toward it

- Want ownership and variety, not just a seat filling out compliance forms
