Lyrebird Origins is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor for an immediate start on an FMG site.
This is a FIFO position from Perth, working an 8 days on, 6 days off roster. The successful candidate will provide frontline electrical supervision, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with site and legislative requirements.

Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate electrical and instrumentation activities
- Provide effective leadership and direction to the electrical workforce
- Ensure work complies with FMG requirements, relevant legislation and electrical standards
- Conduct pre-starts, workplace inspections and field interactions
- Review work permits, isolations, risk assessments and supporting documentation
- Monitor work quality, safety performance and project progress
- Identify hazards and ensure appropriate controls are implemented
- Promote a positive and accountable safety culture across the workgroup
Essential requirements
- Trade qualification in Electrotechnology,
Electrical Instrumentation or a relevant related field
- Section 26 qualification
- Valid, unrestricted WA Electrical Licence
- Qualifications in Construction Leadership and Supervision
- Demonstrated experience supervising electrical work in mining, construction or heavy industry
- Strong understanding of electrical safety, isolation and permit-to-work requirements
- Current Australian working rights
- Ability to complete all required pre-employment and site-entry requirements
Highly desirable
- Current FMG inductions
- Previous experience working on FMG sites
- Previous FIFO electrical supervision experience
- Strong communication, leadership and safety-management skills
