Ongoing -> Permanent Construction Labourer - Soil Stabilisation, Perth-based

Blue Collar People are seeking construction labourers interested in a long-term ongoing casual -> permanent position to work with a soil stabilisation client of ours based in Bayswater.

This role would suit someone looking for very stable, consistent work with a permanent position here in the city, who wants to work 8hrs or more per day, and who doesn't mind consistent, repetitive work.

You must be an Australian or Current Zealand citizen or otherwise have full, permanent working rights in Australia to be able to apply for this role.

The Role

Responsibilities include:

- Getting the truck and supplies ready at the start of the day.

- Setting up on site

- Using a lance to inject grout deep into the ground at the right depths/intervals to stabilise it for future work

- Mixing grout correctly in the pumps on the back of the truck, ensuring the guys in the field can keep working

- Cleaning and packing down the equipment at the end of the day

Pay Rates

- Ordinary Hours: $36.70 per hour + $21.94 per day travel as a travel allowance

- Time and a Half: $51.33 per hour

- Double Time: $65.99 per hour





- The above penalty rates also apply for any weekend work that's occasionally required

Job Details

- Yard Location: Bayswater

- Site locations: Various sites throughout Perth

- Start date: Between now and the 24th of August

- Hours: Approximately 45-50+ hours per week

- Duration: Ongoing casual -> permanent

The Silica Awareness Course is required for this role and will be organised by the client

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

- Your license

- The ability to work well in a small crew of good guys

- The ability to handle simple, repetitive and consistent work (or a genuine interest in such work)
