Call On Clare has been supporting older Australians to live independently in their own homes for many years. Due to ongoing growth, we’re looking for an experienced and highly organised Compliance officer.
The compliance officer will support the organisation to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and quality standards, while promoting a strong culture of continuous improvement and person-centred care

About the Role
The Compliance Officer will play a key role in maintaining Call on Clare’s quality, governance and regulatory compliance systems. Working collaboratively across the organisation, you will:
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining current knowledge of the Support at Home Program, Aged Care Act, Aged Care Quality Standards, Strengthened Quality Standards and relevant legislation.
- Monitor compliance with aged care legislation, the Support at Home Program, Quality Standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, review and maintain policies, procedures and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate internal audits and support external audits, accreditation and regulatory reviews.
- Monitor incidents, complaints, risks and feedback, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate corrective actions and support investigations and compliance requirements.
- Review client and operational records to ensure quality and compliance.
- Prepare quality and compliance reports for management.
- Provide staff and managers with guidance and education on compliance, policies and legislative requirements.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, quality outcomes and person-centred care.
About You
We are seeking a professional who demonstrates integrity, high attention to detail and strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement
You will bring:
- Qualification in Quality, Compliance, Health, Nursing, Community Services, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience. Background in nursing (EN/RN) or allied health preferred
- Demonstrated experience in quality, compliance, governance or aged care with experience in Support at Home and NDIS (desirable)
- Sound knowledge of Australian aged care legislation and the Support at Home Program the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Experience conducting audits and implementing corrective actions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills with high attention to detail and quality documentation skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills with the Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
- Strong computer literacy and electronic systems experience.
- Ability to interpret legislation, standards and policies.
Requirements:
- Current Police Check (within the last 12 months)
- Must be an Australian Citizen or have Australian working rights
