The Program & Education Lead is responsible for the planning, operational management and delivery of The Push for Better Foundation’s education programs and initiatives. Working closely with schools, education partners and internal teams, the role delivers programs, partnerships and initiatives that strengthen mental fitness, mental health literacy and wellbeing among students, educators and school communities.
The role is responsible for growing the Foundation’s education portfolio, including leading education sector participation in The Push-Up Challenge, managing the Student Ambassador Program, and identifying, developing and evaluating new initiatives that extend the Foundation’s impact and reach.
Lead the Foundation's education engagement strategy
- Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of The Push for Better Foundation's education engagement strategy, spanning The Push-Up Challenge and current and future education initiatives.
- Use research, consultation, participation data and sector insights to identify emerging needs, inform program design and recommend strategic priorities for the Foundation's education portfolio.
Lead education engagement and program delivery
- Develop and implement strategies to increase engagement with schools and educational communities across Foundation initiatives, including the current Student Ambassador program and The Push-Up Challenge.
- Recruit and support new and existing school and education sector partners to strengthen participation, engagement and impact from existing platforms.
- Develop and manage best-in class modern mental literacy and/or mental fitness educational content, delivered digitally, including oversight of future learning management systems.
Student Ambassador Program
- Coordinate and deliver the Student Ambassador Program end-to-end, including marketing and promotion, student recruitment and selection, onboarding, communication journeys, resource development, participant support and monitoring and evaluation.
Funding, evaluation and continuous improvement
- Develop and monitor the education engagement budget for effective delivery.
- Identify and secure new funding opportunities for education-related programs and initiatives.
- Monitor, evaluate and report on education engagement activities and community impact.
Given the national scope of this role, it is primarily desk-based, with most engagement with students, schools, educators, and community stakeholders taking place online. The role also offers occasional opportunities to visit schools and attend education sector events, providing valuable face-to-face connection with key audiences.
Not For Profit Salary Packaging available of up to $18,000.00 per annum.
