About Us
Voyages Tourism Australia offers experience-based holidays in spectacular wilderness locations, including Ayers Rock Resort in Australia's iconic Red Centre and tourism facilities at Mossman Gorge in Tropical North Queensland.
Based in our Sydney CBD office, you'll support our operational teams across these unique destinations while helping people find rewarding career opportunities.
About the Role
As we head into our busy recruitment season, we're looking for a Junior Recruiter to join our high-energy Talent team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
You'll work alongside an experienced recruiters and hiring managers to attract and hire employees across a variety of roles including:
No extensive recruitment experience? No problem. We'll teach you the recruitment side. What we're really interested in is your hospitality background, people skills and willingness to learn.
What You'll Be Doing
- Searching for and engaging potential candidates
- Supporting recruitment campaigns and hiring projects
- Writing and posting job advertisements
- Screening applications and conducting phone interviews
- Coordinating interviews with hiring managers
- Building relationships with candidates and operational leaders
- Learning the end-to-end recruitment process
- Helping candidates understand what it's like to live and work at Ayers Rock Resort
- Managing multiple vacancies and priorities in a busy environment
What You'll Bring
- Experience in Food & Beverage, Hospitality, Hotels or Resorts
- A positive, energetic and professional attitude
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Confidence talking to people from diverse backgrounds
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Basic Microsoft Outlook and Excel skills
- The ability to stay organised in a fast-moving environment
Bonus Points If You Have
- Exposure to recruitment, onboarding or HR administration
- Experience leading teams or supervising staff
- Experience in high-volume hospitality environments
