Telum Workmates are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Trade Assistants to join our client’s team on industrial electrical installation projects in West & South West Sydney.
These roles are short term and ongoing dependent on project needs.
This is a excellent chance for people with construction, electrical or industrial experience who enjoy hands-on work and want to build their skills in the electrical industry.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You’ll be working alongside electricians and electrical trades, assisting with the installation and running of electrical cables throughout the site.
YOUR DUTIES MAY INCLUDE
Running and pulling electrical cables
Assisting electricians with cable installation
Cable handling and preparation
Installing cable supports and containment
Using hand and power tools
General trade assistance and manual labour
Keeping work areas clean and organised
Following site safety procedures and instructions
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We’re looking for people who are:
Available to start immediately
Reliable and punctual
Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
Confident using basic hand and power tools
Comfortable working around electrical trades
Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Construction or electrical experience highly regarded
REQUIREMENTS
Construction White Card
Your own car to get to and from work
Previous construction, industrial or trade assistant experience preferred
Electrical experience highly regarded
Available to complete online inductions prior to start
