REMA TIP TOP is looking for experienced Belt Splicers to join our team in Gladstone.

Duties:
Carry out advanced conveyor belt splicing, pulley lagging and rubber lining works across mining and industrial sites, ensuring all work is completed to OEM specifications and site safety standards.
Conduct inspections, fault finding and repairs on conveyor systems, including hot and cold vulcanising, belt installations and breakdown maintenance to minimise operational downtime.
Assist and mentor Level 1 and Level 2 Belt Splicers on site, providing technical guidance, ensuring quality workmanship and maintaining compliance with secure work procedures.
Complete detailed reporting, risk assessments and job documentation whilst liaising with supervisors, clients and site personnel to coordinate maintenance schedules and project requirements.

Job requirements:
Proven experience as a Level 3 Belt Splicer within mining or heavy industrial environments.
Skilled in hot and cold vulcanising, conveyor belt splicing, pulley lagging and rubber lining.




Strong understanding of site safety procedures and ability to read technical drawings and splice specifications.
Current Driver’s Licence with mandatory Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Testing certifications.
Ability to work effectively within shutdown, maintenance and project environments.
