About the role
The organisation is seeking a Payroll Project Specialist to support a significant UKG implementation project. This role offers the chance to engage in a pivotal payroll transformation, ensuring that the project meets its objectives leading up to go-live.
Key responsibilities
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of UKG system configuration
Execute and document test cases across payroll and workforce management processes
Validate payroll rules, leave entitlements, award interpretation and workflow configurations
Identify, log and track defects through to resolution
Liaise with project teams, implementation partners and key business stakeholders
Follow test scripts and navigate systems
Validate employee data and system integrations
Provide support to end users during the implementation phase.
Skills & experience
Proven experience in payroll, ideally within large or complex organisations
Strong capability in payroll system implementations or upgrades
Demonstrated ability to work with UKG, Kronos or similar workforce management/payroll systems
Excellent UAT, testing and troubleshooting skills
Robust attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Confident communicator who can collaborate effectively across project and operational teams
Available to commence immediately.
