Senior Software Engineer – Mobile SDK Development (Android focus)

Sydney | 12 Month Contract

About the role

This is a specialist engineering position focused on building mobile SDKs embedded within enterprise client applications.

The work is systems-level in nature and not focused on UI or feature development.

The SDKs operate behind the scenes, capturing device and behavioural data used in fraud detection and risk analytics.

Key responsibilities
Design and develop mobile SDKs across Android and iOS
Optimise performance, memory usage and concurrency
Debug platform-specific issues and edge cases
Contribute to SDK integration across cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter, Xamarin)
Participate in code reviews, testing and CI/CD

Required experience
Solid background in systems-level programming:
Memory management




Multithreading / concurrency
Performance optimisation
Proficiency in:
C / C++
Java (Android)
Objective-C (iOS)
Experience working on mobile SDKs, frameworks, or embedded components
Familiarity with Android NDK, Xcode, Gradle or similar tooling

Nice to have
Experience in security, fraud, or device intelligence settings
Exposure to cross-platform mobile frameworks
