Senior Storage & Backup Engineer – Contract

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Storage & Backup Engineer to manage and support enterprise storage, backup, and disaster recovery environments in a hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
Administer and support Dell EMC (PowerStore, PowerMax, Unity) and NetApp ONTAP storage platforms.
Manage Veeam and Commvault backup solutions, including backup, recovery, replication, and DR testing.
Configure and support SAN/NAS, Fibre Channel, storage provisioning, and performance tuning.
Support VMware settings and integrate storage and backup solutions with Azure and AWS .
Perform storage upgrades, migrations, capacity planning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.




Automate routine tasks using PowerShell or Python .

Required Skills:
8+ years of experience in enterprise storage and backup administration.
Hands-on experience with Dell EMC , NetApp , Veeam , and Commvault .
Solid knowledge of VMware , Windows/Linux , Azure , and AWS .
Experience with disaster recovery, replication, and enterprise backup best practices.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Certifications: Dell EMC, NetApp, Veeam (VMCE), Commvault, VMware (VCP), Microsoft Azure, AWS, or ITIL certifications are highly regarded.
