Sydney preferred | Remote working | Circa $250,000 OTE + car allowance A global warehouse robotics and automation provider is expanding its Australian operation following robust growth and increased demand across the region.
The business already has an established local team and a growing pipeline of opportunities. It is now looking for an experienced sales professional to develop its presence across Australia and New Zealand.
This is a hands-on individual-contributor role with responsibility for managing existing prospects, developing new business and leading customers through a consultative, technically complex sales process.
The opportunity
You will
Manage the full sales cycle across Australia and New Zealand
Convert an existing pipeline of qualified opportunities
Develop recent relationships across 3PL, ecommerce, retail and manufacturing
Identify customer requirements and build compelling commercial proposals
Work closely with solution engineering, project management and deployment teams
Build relationships with senior supply-chain, logistics and operational stakeholders
Develop strategic accounts and generate repeat business
Represent the company at relevant industry events and exhibitions
Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting information
Your background
You will ideally have:
Five or more years of B2B sales or business-development experience
Experience with warehouse automation, systems integration, intralogistics or material handling
Knowledge of AMRs, AGVs, ASRS or related warehouse technologies
A track record of winning new customers and achieving sales targets
Experience selling complex technology or capital solutions
The ability to work with technical teams to shape customer proposals
Strong commercial communication and stakeholder-management skills
The motivation to work autonomously in a remote regional role
Experience selling into 3PL, ecommerce, retail, distribution or manufacturing environments would be highly regarded.
Sydney is preferred, although candidates elsewhere in Australia may be considered where they can effectively cover the market.
