Bayside Care Collective Pty Ltd provides allied health services including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and chronic pain management programs. Offers in-clinic assessments, telehealth follow-ups, and workforce wellness workshops for small businesses.

Physiotherapy Assistant support qualified physiotherapists in delivering protected, effective and patient-focused care. You will assist with clinical support tasks, patient preparation, exercise programs under supervision, basic administrative coordination, and maintaining a clean and well-organised treatment setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist physiotherapists during patient assessments and treatment sessions as directed.

Support patients with exercise programs (e.g., set-up, cueing, monitoring adherence) under the physiotherapist’s supervision.

Prepare treatment areas and equipment before and after appointments (exercise equipment, mats, bands, weights, etc.).

Support patient mobility and positioning safely in accordance with training and clinic protocols.

Demonstrate and support proper use of aids (e.g., walking aids, supportive devices) as instructed by the physiotherapist.

Maintain accurate records of non-clinical observations and appointment attendance as required.

Provide friendly patient support and help ensure a smooth,



respectful patient experience.

Follow infection control, hygiene, and workplace safety standards at all times.

Contribute to the organisation and cleanliness of the clinic, including stock control of consumables (where required).

Adhere to privacy and skilled conduct requirements.

Perform basic clinic administration (e.g., booking support, greeting patients, updating schedules) as required.

Skills and Requirements:

Relevant qualification in a health/supportive role (e.g., Cert III/IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent) or currently studying a relevant program.

Experience in customer service and/or working with people with injury or disability (highly regarded).

Understanding of safe manual handling and ability to work within workplace health and safety procedures.

Strong communication skills with the ability to be calm, professional and empathetic.

Ability to follow instructions and clinic protocols accurate

Pay: $5,400.00 – $6,000.00 per month
