About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, skilled Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and finishes, and delivering high‑quality artistry across residential and/or commercial projects. This role suits someone who takes pride in their work, has robust attention to detail, and can work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces by washing, scraping, sanding, filling holes, and repairing cracks
Apply paint, varnish, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
Protect surrounding areas with drop sheets, masking, and appropriate preparation
Mix and match paint colours to achieve required finishes
Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with industry regulations
Maintain tools, equipment,



and a clean work environment
Communicate professionally with clients and team members
Complete jobs within agreed timeframes and to a high standard

Essential Requirements
Previous experience as a Painter (residential or commercial)
Robust knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools
Ability to work safely and follow WHS guidelines
Positive communication and time‑management skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work unsupervised
Current driver’s licence and own transport
Current Working with Children and Police Checks required

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
