We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our growing kitchen team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards in food preparation and presentation while supporting the productive day-to-day operations of the kitchen.

This full-time role is based in Lithgow, NSW 2790, with a salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 plus superannuation.

Applicants must hold a Diploma in hospitality management, Culinary Arts, or a related culinary qualification (or higher) and have at least one year of full time relevant industry experience as a Chef.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Prepare and cook all menu items to a consistently high standard.
Assist in developing and updating menus to ensure variety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Supervise and coordinate junior kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, garnishing,



and plating.
Manage inventory, place orders, and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure the availability of fresh, high-quality ingredients.
Assist with recruiting, training, and supervising kitchen staff while maintaining high standards of performance and discipline.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, workplace health and safety, and kitchen security regulations.
Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance food quality and kitchen operations.
Identify opportunities to improve kitchen efficiency, menu offerings, and overall restaurant services.

Salary

Successful candidates will receive an annual salary of $80,000 to $90,000 plus Superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
