Role and Location

Early Childhood Senior Educator

Location: Western Division region, NSW – all centres located in the Western Division region.

Salary Range: $41.74 to $47.40 per hour + superannuation (dependent on qualifications and experience).

Employment Type: Full‑time Permanent.

Responsibilities

Your Impact!

As a Senior Educator, you will be a team player, collaborating with your peers to observe, inform and continuously improve educational programs offered to children. You prioritize safety and inclusive learning environments.
Maintain a protected environment for children, families and team members.
Lead a classroom effectively, engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program.
Utilize and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide to deliver high‑quality education in collaboration with the Education Leader.
Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart policies, procedures and requirements.
Contribute to delivering the Centre and business plans.

Qualifications

Required:
Senior Educator: Diploma of Early Childhood Education.




Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement.
Seek and share best practice examples to improve the education program.
