Description
Develop and review Protection & Control (P&C;) designs for HV substation projects
Design and integrate protection schemes including distance, differential, and overcurrent
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and to spec
Create detailed design drawings using AutoCAD or MicroStation
Perform technical assessments and recommend design improvements




Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
Provide technical support throughout design, testing, and delivery phases
Profile
A successful Secondary Design Engineer will have:
A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
Proven experience in HV substation secondary design and P&C; systems
Strong understanding of protection schemes (distance, differential, overcurrent)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar design tools
Excellent problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
A strong commitment to delivering high-quality engineering outcomes
