We are growing, and we're looking for a motivatedJunior Sleep Technicianto join our clinical team.
The Role
As a Junior Sleep Technician at New Sleep, you will set patients up for overnight sleep studies.
Assist in patient education with regards the use of actigraphy and oximetry devices.
Scoring of sleep studies and preparation of reports is also required, and you will be supported to train up in this skill.
This is an excellent entry‐level role for someone interested in sleep medicine, physiology, or clinical healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare patients for overnight polysomnography (PSG) and other sleep studies
Apply sensors and electrodes according to AASM standards
Troubleshoot equipment and signal quality issues
Score sleep studies under supervision (training provided)
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical quality standards
Contribute to a supportive, patient‐focused clinic environment
About You
Bachelor's degree in a health field required (ie Health Science/Biomed).
You're someone who is curious, reliable, and eager to learn.
You enjoy working with patients, have strong attention to detail, and feel comfortable in a clinical environment.
Essential Criteria
Bachelor's degree in Health Science/Biomed or similar
Interest in sleep medicine, physiology, or healthcare
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work into evening hours - finish M-Thurs at ****.
High attention to detail and commitment to patient care
Comfortable with technology and clinical equipment
Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Desirable Criteria
Experience in healthcare, allied health, or patient‐facing roles
Knowledge of sleep disorders or previous exposure to PSG
Certificate or coursework in sleep technology (advantage but not required)
