As a Light Vehicle Mechanic at GCE Automotive, you'll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of passenger and light commercial vehicles.
Working in our contemporary, well-equipped workshop, you'll deliver quality workmanship while being supported by strong systems and a collaborative team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out logbook servicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
General servicing and maintenance
Brake, steering and suspension repairs
Timing belt and major mechanical repairs
Using scan tools and diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults
Completing vehicle inspections and reporting recommended repairs
Performing road tests where required
Maintaining accurate job records and following workshop procedures
Working safely and contributing to a clean, organised workshop
You'll have the opportunity to broaden your skills in auto electrical and air conditioning work alongside experienced technicians.
