Reporting to the Mining Superintendent, you will be a part of a dynamic and motivated team.
The role will require you to support the Mining Manager, Senior Supervisors/Superintendents, Supervisors and the SSE to manage the mine in accordance with the requirements of the site Safety and Health Management System, site Environmental Management System, the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act **** and the Coal Mine Safety and Health Regulation ****.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Working knowledge of the Queensland Coal Mining Safety & Health Act and associated regulations;
Knowledge and understanding of Safety Management Systems;
Previous experience in the supervision of workers within a mining or heavy industry environment
Current Coal Board Medical
Current Standard 11 (Surface)
Open Cut Examiner Certificate of Competency (Open Cut Coal Mines) Queensland
Demonstrated skills in risk awareness, hazard identification and a strong commitment to safety
Strong administration and organisational skills
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
Demonstrated high level of communication, analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office
Skills and Experience
Working knowledge of the Queensland Coal Mining Safety & Health Act and associated regulations;
Knowledge and understanding of Safety Management Systems;
Previous experience in the supervision of workers within a mining or heavy industry environment
