Technical Business Analyst I Contract until February 2027 I $700 per day plus super

Location: Broadmeadows

We're partnering with a well-established Local Government organisation that is investing heavily in its digital transformation journey. They are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to help deliver a range of enterprise-wide digital initiatives, working across business stakeholders, architects, vendors and technology teams.

Your new role
Gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements
Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and solution vendors
Create user stories, process maps, functional requirements and solution artefacts
Help translate business needs into practical technical solutions
Support solution design activities and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles
Work closely with vendors throughout the project lifecycle
Drive process improvement, systems thinking and continuous improvement initiatives
Coordinate stakeholders across multiple teams and manage dependencies
Contribute to UAT planning,



acceptance criteria and testing activities
Support the successful delivery of digital transformation projects and technology implementations

What are we looking for?
5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst in complex environments
Solid experience working as a Technical Business Analyst on digital, applications or transformation projects
Proven ability to document high-quality user stories, requirements and process maps
Experience facilitating workshops and engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies
Experience working with software vendors and third-party solution providers
Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
Background working with enterprise applications, integrations, SaaS platforms or digital solutions
Experience using BPMN, Visio, Promapp or similar process mapping tools
