Help lead the first Dirk's store!
Dirk's is coming to Buranda Village — and we're looking for casual Shift Leaders to help launch our first store.
We're a new quick-casual food brand built around big flavour, proper food, cheeky energy and a love of dogs.
We're here to make fast food better: better bites, better vibes and better for dogs.
This is not just another shift supervisor role.
You'll be part of the opening leadership team, helping set the standard for service, speed, quality and culture from day one.
The role
As a Shift Leader, you'll help run shifts, support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, and lead the team on the floor during service.
You'll be hands‐on across the store — coaching team members, keeping service moving, solving problems quickly and making sure every customer experience feels fast, warm and unmistakably Dirk's.
This is a casual role, with an opportunity for the right people to grow into part‐time leadership or future management roles as Dirk's expands.
What you'll do
Lead shifts and keep the team moving with energy and focus
Support the HHH service model: Hello, Hustle, Heart
Coach team members during service
Manage station flow, breaks, standards and customer recovery
Help maintain speed, quality, cleanliness and accuracy
Support food safety, opening and closing routines
Keep both in‐store and delivery orders flowing smoothly
Help train new team members
Bring the PACK Way to life every shift
What we're looking for
You might already be a Shift Leader, Supervisor, Team Leader or senior team member.
Or you might be ready to step up.
Ideally,



you'll bring experience in QSR, fast food, food retail, hospitality, café, dessert, bubble tea, retail or another fast‐paced customer environment.
Calm under pressure

High‐energy without being chaotic
Clear, fair and respectful with the team
Comfortable working in a fast‐paced food environment
Available for at least 15+ hours per week
Availability & Start Date
We're aiming to commence paid induction, training and soft‐launch activities from aroundmid-August, ahead of the Buranda Village store opening.
Final timing may shift slightly depending on store handover, but successful applicants will need to be available for compulsory paid training before opening.
Initial trading hours are expected to be around10am–9pm, with potential for later Friday/Saturday trading and breakfast shifts in future.
