ABOUT THE ROLE
Renovations North Queensland is looking for a qualified and experienced carpenter to join our Townsville team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys varied work, takes ownership of their jobs and maintains a high standard of workmanship.
Our projects include residential renovations, retirement-living refurbishments, property upgrades and general building repairs.
You'll work alongside our existing team and trusted local trades, with consistent work available for the right person.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Your work will include:
General carpentry, repairs and maintenance
Residential renovations and refurbishments
Door, window, wall, ceiling and external building repairs
Fit-off and finishing work
Demolition and preparation for other trades
Identifying issues and helping determine practical solutions
Coordinating with supervisors, other trades and clients
Keeping work areas clean, organised and protected
Completing work to the required quality and within the allocated timeframe
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR




A recognised carpentry trade qualification
Relevant residential renovation or maintenance experience
A current driver's licence
A Construction White Card
Your own carpentry tools
Good practical problem-solving ability
Strong attention to detail
Clear and respectful communication
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliability and a willingness to take responsibility for your work
Experience working in occupied homes, retirement-living environments or property maintenance would be well regarded.
