This is an ongoing casual position for the right candidate, with the view to transition to permanent full time after 3 months.
What You Will Be Doing:
Operating mobile machinery (Excavators, Loaders or Moxys) on a busy quarrying site
Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
Following strict workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures
Working collaboratively in a strong team environment
Assisting with any additional duties assigned by the site foreman or manager
What You Need:
At least 2-3 years of proven experience operating heavy machinery
Valid tickets/competencies for Excavator, Front End Loader, or Haul Pack/Moxy
Current Driver's Licence and your own reliable vehicle to get to site
Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
Willingness to work hard with a positive, 'can do' attitude
What You Get:
$41 - $44 / hr + super + penalties
6:00 AM starts, working 10 to 11-hour days
Ongoing work with a temp-to-perm pathway after 3 months
Immediate start available
