Join Greater Hume Council's Maintenance Grading Team
Greater Hume Council is seeking a motivated and reliable Roller Operator to join our Maintenance Grading Crew. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse range of road maintenance and civil construction projects while enjoying the variety that comes with working throughout the Greater Hume region.
Working closely with the Maintenance Grading Leading Hand and, at times, a small team of contractors, you will play an significant role in maintaining Council's extensive road network and supporting safe, high-quality outcomes for our communities.
This position is based at Council's Jindera Works Depot and offers a 38-hour week and a 9-day fortnight, providing an excellent work-life balance.
Salary:




$1,****** to $1,****** gross per week, plus 12% Superannuation, applicable allowances, and opportunities for overtime.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Experience operating rollers and other small plant and equipment.
Experience working on roadworks, maintenance activities, or civil construction projects.
A current
Construction Industry White Card
and a sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team, contribute to toolbox meetings, and follow written and verbal instructions.
