We're seeking another full-time
qualified cabinet maker to start ASAP building and installing
with our small team of passionate Tradies, based in Kunda Park QLD.

You'll enjoy variety in your day working on projects right from build to install, with everyone utilising, learning or teaching all aspects of cabinetry, the Hill Built way. This helps maintain consistency, momentum, quality, enthusiasm and accountability! Demonstrated experience and the ability to deliver and install cabinetry is a must!
We communicate clear team outcomes and deadlines, which means clients are well informed, ready for the install and excited to see you! We also clean up after ourselves on-site daily, so you can't be afraid of a broom (nor in the factory)! Our custom projects range from single kitchens to whole houses, all manufactured in house using a CNC Machine, Digital Panel Saw & Edgebander. You are required to have your own set of hand & power tools for manufacturing as well as installing, with a weekly tool allowance and consumables provided by us.
The hourly rate is dependent on your level of experience, skills and knowledge, plus Annual Leave Loading, Superannuation & Tool Allowance.

No one cupboard is the same, so if you're looking for a mundane repetitive job, this one isn't for you (nester-babies won't cut-it here...pardon the pun)! We want someone enthusiastic and keen to use initiative and develop skills, with a key focus on quality craftsmanship. You'll ideally enjoy troubleshooting, teamwork & tackling challenges, not afraid to ask questions and respectfully follow instructions from team leaders. It's equally important to us that you have a positive attitude, a cracking playlist and value a team and a business who'll have your back, if you've got theirs!
The right candidate may not have the perfect skills or experience YET but we'll know pretty quickly if you align with our morals/values and can hold up the Hill Built reputation, the rest is teachable!
Must have:
Cert III Cabinetmaking Qualification
Experience operating Panel Saw & Edgebander
Reliable Vehicle and Manual drivers licence for driving work vehicles
Ability to read and interpret plans/cut-lists
Own tradesman set of power & hand tools
WHS knowledge & demonstrated protected work practices
Positive attitude to teamwork & pride in projects completed together
Ability to learn the Hill Built way & work with honesty & integrity
Available for work 6am - 4pm Mon-Thu with occasional overtime when required
At least 2 work references contactable by phone (after interview stage)
Experience driving a pantech truck
Experience operating a CNC machine
First Aid Certificate
Every Friday off - 4 Day work week!
Above award wages plus Annual Leave Loading, Superannuation & Tool Allowance
