Opportunity
We're looking for a skilled Operator to join our team at our Artarmon transfer station. This hands‐on role is ideal for someone with heavy machinery experience keen to contribute to essential waste operations that support the local environment.
Duties
Staging trucks and trailers throughout the day for loading and quick hitching
Quick hitching when a prime mover drops and empties a trailer and hitches to a full trailer quickly
Using a backhoe to dig out overweight trailers
Cleaning behind the packer units
Communicating the tipping locations to drivers
Ensuring the tipping destinations are evenly shared across drivers
About You
Current Excavator and Loader / Forklift ticket
Must hold a current HC Licence
Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
Good mechanical aptitude and committed to safety
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Positive attitude and good communication skills
