Accounting Accounts Clerk QLD Other Permanent / Full Time 28/7/2026 Permanent chance Monday to Friday - 8am-4pm office hours with some flexibility $70,000-$75,000/annum + superannuation C H Recruitment is supporting our Townsville based client in recruiting for a Finance Payroll Officer to join them on a permanent basis Reporting to the Financial Accountant, this role will challenge and develop your professional skills, whilst providing great exposure to a multifaceted heavy industry business This role offers Monday to Friday work and office hours from 8am-4pm with some flexibility As a key member of the Finance Team, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation, processing, and maintaining records for the payroll and accounts receivable functions as well as providing general finance and administration support Key Responsibilities in the role: Responsible for maintaining confidential employee records and administering end-to-end payroll processes, including the collection, verification, and processing of timesheets and overtime Payroll data management, leave accrual tracking, and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations Reconciliation and payment of PAYG, superannuation, Maritime Super insurance levies, payroll tax,
