We are seeking an experienced
Automation Specialist
to play a critical role in delivering a future-state
Local Administrator Access operating model
. Working closely with the Technical Business Analyst and key stakeholders across Cyber Security, Identity, and End User Experience (EUX) teams, you will design, build, test, and implement automated workflows and integrations that replace manual processes and drive operational excellence.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape automation strategies, improve employee experiences, and create scalable solutions that enhance governance, security, and efficiency.
What You'll Be Doing
Workflow Automation
Streamline manual operational processes through automation.
Automate Local Administrator Access request, validation, approval, fulfilment, monitoring, and removal activities where possible.
Enhance and optimise Jira and SailPoint workflows to improve responsiveness and automation capabilities.
Systems Integration
Build integrations between request management, identity governance, endpoint management, and approval platforms.
Leverage APIs, connectors, and enterprise automation tools to enable seamless workflows.
Facilitate data exchange across Cyber Security, Identity, and EUX systems.
Support automated access validation, reporting, compliance,



and governance processes.
User Experience Enhancement
Simplify user request and fulfilment journeys.
Reduce manual touchpoints and approval bottlenecks.
Improve transparency through automated status updates and tracking.
Design and implement self-service capabilities where appropriate.
Develop operational dashboards and automation performance reporting.
Measure workflow effectiveness and identify optimisation opportunities.
Recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives across adjacent processes.
Establish reusable automation patterns for future business use cases.

End-to-end automated workflows successfully implemented
Significant reduction in manual processing effort
Faster approval turnaround times and improved user experience
Automated governance, compliance reporting, and monitoring established
What We're Looking For
Proven experience designing and implementing workflow automation solutions within enterprise environments.
Strong experience with workflow orchestration, process automation, and systems integration.
Hands-on experience with platforms such as
Jira, SailPoint, ServiceNow
, or similar enterprise tooling.
Knowledge of APIs, integration frameworks, and automation technologies.
Experience working across Cyber Security, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and End User Computing environments.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
