The Opportunity An exciting opportunity is available for a VR General Practitioner to join a growing national network of Urgent Care Centres, with a Melbourne base location and the option to provide FIFO/DIDO coverage across other sites if desired.
This role is ideal for GPs who enjoy procedural medicine, acute presentations and working in a fast-paced environment outside of the traditional general practice model.
Opportunities are available on a permanent basis, with a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week and flexibility to increase hours based on your availability.
Doctors will manage predominantly Category 3-5 presentations and should be confident assessing and treating a broad range of urgent care cases.
The Practice You'll be joining a well-supported multidisciplinary team where the typical clinical model includes: 1 GP supported by an experienced Registered Nurse Dedicated triage and administrative support Modern facilities with access to onsite imaging services where available Higher-volume centres may have overlapping GP coverage when required Internal credentialing team providing support with onboarding and compliance Operating hours generally run from 8:00am to 10:00pm, with shifts commonly split between daytime and afternoon/evening coverage.
