We are seeking an experienced and motivated carpenter to join our growing team.
You'll work across a range of projects performing carpentry duties.
KEY DUTIES/TASKS Interpreting construction plans, technical drawings and specifications to identify material requirements, measurements and installation methods Selecting, ordering and preparing timber, hardware and other construction materials, including setting out project layouts Measuring, cutting, shaping and assembling materials and components using hand and power tools Constructing and installing wall frameworks, roof structures,



flooring systems and sub-floor components while ensuring structural accuracy and alignment Installing fascia boards, roof sheeting, external cladding, as well as door and window frames in accordance with project specifications Fabricating and assembling timber structures, fittings and fixtures prior to installation on-site Preparing and cutting timber joints to ensure precise fitting and structural integrity Assisting with the construction and installation of concrete formwork where required Carrying out maintenance, repairs and replacement of existing timber fixtures and fittings Working with a range of materials including timber, plastic laminates, Perspex and light metals for construction and finishing purposes REQUIREMENTS Certificate III in Carpentry Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry Has PPI Kit (preferred) Has own tool kit (preferred) Robust knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools White card (Construction induction safety certificate) A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation Must be available on Saturdays
