What does the job look like?
Linfox's Intermodal business unit is seeking a casual MC Driver to join our team based in Katherine NT , supporting produce movements from farms throughout the Mataranka region to the local rail terminal.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work close to home, build solid relationships with local growers, and play a key role in keeping the Northern Territory's agricultural supply chain moving.
With consistent weekday work, seasonal overtime opportunities, and modern, well-maintained equipment, this is an ideal role for experienced MC drivers looking for a rewarding Territory-based driving position.
Key areas: Safely transport fresh produce from local farms across the Mataranka region to the Katherine rail terminal.
Conduct pre-start vehicle checks and ensure all freight is transported safely and efficiently.
Build positive relationships with farmers, customers, and operational teams.
Ensure compliance with fatigue management, mass, and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
Follow Linfox safety standards and make Vision Zero a daily focus.
Assist with general yard duties and equipment operation when required.
Work to scheduled delivery timeframes while maintaining excellent customer service.

You can demonstrate: Current MC Licence.
Previous experience operating road trains or multi-combination vehicles.
Knowledge of Katherine, Mataranka and surrounding regional road networks.
Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Reliability, self-motivation, and a positive attitude Forklift licence (desirable but not essential).
