This is a rare opportunity to step into a Senior Corporate Accountant role with real ownership over statutory reporting and month-end, working alongside a Corporate Finance Manager who'll back your ideas for improving the control environment.

The Role Prepare statutory financial accounts and supporting notes, with significant input into the annual and half-year audit process Take ownership of key End of Month processes, ensuring deadlines are consistently met Ensure general ledger data integrity,
with balance sheet and sub-ledger reconciliations verified and reconciling items actioned within agreed timeframes Continually challenge existing processes to identify and implement system and process efficiencies, improving both turnaround time and the control environment Work hands-on with cost centre owners and stakeholders across the business, bringing a proactive, solutions-focused approach to their queries About You CA or CPA qualified, with at least 3 years' post-qualification experience A commerce or finance-related degree Experience in a similar corporate accounting role; Big 4 business services or audit background preferred Exposure to New Zealand accounting and tax would be an advantage, though not essential Advanced Excel skills and hands-on ERP system experience Sound judgement, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the initiative to manage competing deadlines independently What's on Offer $130k to $140k plus superannuation Genuine flexibility, including WFH arrangements Structured development and training opportunities Paid parental leave for both parents A CBD office with city views, free gym membership, discounted private health cover, and a fully-kitted WFH setup An active social calendar and a workplace built around community and connection Ready to bring your technical expertise to a business where it genuinely counts?
