We're looking for a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join Ability Action Australia in North Tasmania , working part-time hours that make sense for you.
Maybe you're looking for better balance.

What will you actually be doing?
You'll work alongside people with disability, their families and support networks to create meaningful, practical change.
Your days might include: Developing and delivering evidence-based Behaviour Support Plans Creating meaningful goals and practical strategies using a Positive Behaviour Support framework Working towards the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices Building the skills and confidence of families, carers, friends and other important people in a participant's life Advocating for the people you support and helping their voices be heard Collaborating with a genuinely multidisciplinary allied health team In short: positive clinical work, meaningful relationships and outcomes that actually matter.
A little about you You'll have: A degree qualification in an allied health discipline such as Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Social Work Experience developing, implementing and reviewing Behaviour Support Plans Proficient, Advanced or Specialist status as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner A genuine passion for working within the disability sector And ideally,
you're someone who likes having autonomy while still knowing there's a great team behind you.
