Job details Site Supervisor Pay Rate: $*****/hr Flat Rate 12 hour Shifts Mackay location About the Role WorkPac is currently seeking experienced Mechanical Structural Site Supervisors to join our Mackay Operations Team for upcoming shutdown work across the Bowen Basin .
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team delivering critical maintenance and shutdown services across multiple mine sites.
Working 12-hour shifts on shutdown-specific rosters, you'll lead mechanical crews across predominantly Wash Plant shutdowns, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
With multiple back-to-back shutdowns already scheduled, this role offers consistent ongoing opportunities.
What You Will Be Doing Supervising and coordinating daily activities of mechanical and structural crews Leading shutdown works across Wash Plants and mining infrastructure Ensuring compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and legislative requirements Planning, scheduling, and overseeing shutdown activities to meet project deadlines Promoting a strong safety-first culture and leading by example Maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, and environmental performance Building and supporting a positive,



high-performing team environment What You Will Need Previous experience supervising mechanical or structural shutdown crews within the mining industry Strong leadership and people management skills Current S1, S2, S3 G2 certification Current Coal Board Medical or the ability to obtain one Excellent communication and organisational skills Commitment to workplace health and safety Current Driver's Licence What's In It For You?
