Forklift Operators
to join their afternoon operations team in Melbourne's South East.
This isn't your average warehouse role. Every shift operates to strict linehaul deadlines, so you'll need to think quickly, work safely, and keep freight moving. If you've worked in transport before, you'll know exactly what to expect.
What's on offer?
$***** per hour
Monday to Friday
Afternoon shift commencing at
4:00pm
Predominately 4-hour shifts
Regular overtime available
Ongoing casual opportunity

The Role
Your key responsibilities will include:
Operating a
Toyota 2.5T counterbalance forklift
Unloading and loading linehaul trucks
scanning freight and allocating pallets
Putting away pallets into the correct freight bays
Reading pallet labels accurately from the forklift without dismounting
Working to strict dispatch deadlines
General warehouse housekeeping
checking sort code book efficiently to ensure accurate placement of pallets
What You'll Need
Current LF Forklift Licence
Previous transport or express freight experience is essential
Experience operating a
Toyota 2.5T counterbalance forklift
Experience with
1.9m forklift tines (long tines)
Strong experience loading and unloading semi-trailers and B-double trailers
Excellent eyesight and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately read freight labels while operating the forklift
Strong understanding of freight staging and pallet placement into the correct dispatch bays
Experience using RF scanners
Reliable attendance and a solid work ethic
Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Ability to work well within a team while maintaining safety and productivity
