Dermocosmetica

Melbourne

With over
2,500 clinics and 150 hospitals
across Australia & New Zealand, we deliver
cutting-edge skincare solutions
trusted by dermatologists, cosmetic doctors, and aesthetic professionals.
We're now looking for a
Product / Brand Manager - Cosmetic Injectables.
The Role
The Brand Manager – Injectables is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for the day-to-day marketing output that drives commercial performance across Dermocosmetica's injectables portfolio (Profhilo, Profhilo Structura, Viscoderm HB and future IBSA additions). This is a practitioner role. The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time building tools, materials, campaigns, and content that directly support the BDM team's ability to deliver high-impact clinic calls, and that sustain engagement with accounts receiving lower-frequency sales contact.
This role operates within a B2B2C model. Our clinic partners and clinicians are the critical commercial intermediary, and every piece of marketing output from this role must be designed to win their advocacy and equip them to confidently recommend and administer our products. Candidates from predominantly B2C marketing backgrounds will not be considered.
The role reports directly to the CEO and has one direct report (Social Media & Digital Manager).
Key Responsibilities
BDM Field Support Tools & Call Materials
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve a library of BDM call tools for the injectables portfolio: clinic leave-behinds, visual selling aids, clinical evidence summaries, treatment protocol cards, objection-handling guides, and patient-facing recommendation materials.
Create assets that help BDMs open new injecting accounts, grow existing ones, and re-engage lapsed clinics with confidence and impact.
Produce product education materials (slide decks, clinical one-pagers, comparison tools, injection guides) that support BDMs in articulating clinical differentiation and driving injector confidence.
Work closely with BDMs, the Head of Sales and Head of National Key Accounts, and the Medical/Education team to understand field gaps and respond with improved, field-tested materials.
Ensure all BDM tools are current, compliant with TGA and industry standards, on-brand, and formatted for both digital and in-clinic use.
EDM & Campaign Execution for Lower-Touch Accounts
Plan and execute a regular EDM and digital campaign program targeted at injecting accounts that receive lower call frequency from the BDM team — keeping these accounts engaged, informed, and commercially active between visits.
Build and manage segmented contact lists in coordination with the sales team, ensuring EDM content is matched to account type, usage stage, and commercial intent.
Write compelling, clinic-facing copy for EDMs, digital communications, and promotional campaigns that speak directly to the language and priorities of aesthetic injectors.
Manage promotional campaigns, seasonal initiatives, and product launch communications designed to drive ordering from lower-touch accounts.
Track and report on campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through, ordering activity) and use results to continuously improve content, timing, and audience segmentation.
Social Media & Digital Coordination
Direct and oversee the Social Media & Digital Manager to ensure digital content and social output is aligned with the injectables and skincare commercial calendar and BDM field activity.
Provide clear direction on campaign content, product focus, and audience targeting for digital channels,

ensuring social activity reinforces rather than contradicts field sales messaging.
Collaborate with the Social Media & Digital Manager on lead-generation initiatives and HCP-targeted digital campaigns.
Product & Brand Execution
Execute product launch activities for injectables portfolio additions in coordination with Sales, Medical, and Education teams.
Manage the A&P; budget for the injectables portfolio — tracking spend, ensuring accountability to budget, and maximising marketing return on investment.
Liaise with Logistics to provide input on forecasting and stock planning tied to promotional calendars and campaign activity.
Maintain full brand compliance and ensure all materials meet TGA, IBSA, and Dermocosmetica standards.
BDM Training & Onboarding
Contribute actively to the onboarding and ongoing training of new BDMs, with specific responsibility for injectables product knowledge and marketing strategy content.
Deliver training sessions that equip new BDMs with a thorough understanding of the injectables portfolio — treatment protocols, patient selection criteria, competitive positioning, and key clinical evidence (note – product training responsibility is shared with Medical and utilises the extensive library of IBSA training resources).
Ensure new BDMs understand the marketing strategy behind each brand — the target injector profile, the core selling narrative, the promotional calendar, and how marketing activity is designed to support their clinic conversations and advocacy building.
Maintain and update BDM training materials as products, clinical evidence, and marketing strategies evolve, ensuring the field team always has current, accurate, and compelling content.
Work in close partnership with the Head of Sales and Medical team to coordinate training delivery and ensure tight alignment between marketing messaging and what BDMs are communicating in the field.
Maintain frequent, direct contact with injecting clinicians, clinic owners, and clinic managers across Australia and New Zealand to develop a deep and current understanding of their needs, decision-making, and commercial pressures.
Use customer insights gathered through clinic visits, injector events, BDM debriefs, and direct conversations to build marketing tools and campaigns that are genuinely tailored to what clinicians care about — not adapted from global templates.
Build marketing plans explicitly grounded in the ANZ aesthetics market: local competitive dynamics, injector sentiment, regulatory context, and the specific buying behaviour of Australian and New Zealand clinic customers.
Identify emerging customer needs, competitor movements, and category trends through regular field contact and translate these into clear recommendations for product positioning or campaign adjustment.
Represent the voice of the injector and clinic owner internally — ensuring marketing output reflects authentic customer intelligence, not internal assumptions.
Participate in regular sales and marketing alignment meetings to ensure marketing output serves commercial priorities.
Provide the CEO with clear, timely updates on marketing activity, A&P; spend, and performance against commercial metrics.
Supervise and direct the Social Media & Digital Manager,

providing clear briefs and managing workload and output quality.
What this Role is NOT
This is not a marketing leadership or brand strategy role. There is no Marketing Manager layer — this position reports directly to the CEO but does not carry departmental leadership authority. This role is totally focused on the execution of high-quality, commercially-oriented marketing work that directly enables BDM performance and sustains clinic engagement. Applicants seeking a strategic or managerial career step should look elsewhere
Knowledge Skill & Abilities
Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality marketing tools, materials, and campaigns in a B2B2C or professional/clinical channel context.
Strong written communication skills — able to produce compelling copy for aesthetics professionals and adapt tone where required for patient-facing or consumer content.
Practical knowledge of EDM platforms, list segmentation, and digital campaign management.
Understanding of social media content strategy within a regulated professional healthcare context is advantageous.
Confident trainer and presenter — able to communicate injectables product knowledge and marketing strategy clearly to new BDMs and adapt delivery to varied learning styles.
Customer-facing confidence — comfortable spending regular time with injecting clinicians and clinic owners, and skilled at translating those conversations into better marketing.
Detail-oriented with strong project management capability — able to manage multiple live briefs across field tools and digital campaigns simultaneously.
Commercially minded — understands the connection between marketing output, BDM activity, and revenue performance in a clinical channel.
Comfortable directing creative resources (Social Media & Digital Manager) through transparent, detailed briefs.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.
Minimum 3 years of marketing experience, with a clear and demonstrable track record of delivering marketing tools, campaigns, and materials in a professional channel environment.
Prior experience in a B2B2C role where marketing's primary task was earning the buy-in and sell-through commitment of a professional or trade intermediary. This is non-negotiable.
Candidates from predominantly B2C backgrounds (FMCG, consumer digital, retail) will not be considered.
Experience in medical aesthetics, cosmeceuticals, pharmaceutical, dental, or allied health sectors is essential.
Based at the Coburg Head Office, with willingness to attend key events and training days as required.
Please do check the requirements in the "About You" section. If you don't meet these requirements its unlikely you'll be successful.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. All applications undergo reference & background checks.
Dermocosmètica advises that screening including criminal history, medical assessment, confirmation of experience, stated qualifications and other relevant checks form a part of the candidate suitability evaluation process.
