Borderline Personality Disorder Collaborative invites applications for the role of Research Coordinator (job-share), offering the opportunity to contribute to innovative, evidence-based, and person-centred service development.
Working within the Borderline Personality Disorder Collaborative, this role focuses on planning, coordinating and delivering high-quality research, evaluation and service improvement activities that inform clinical practice and statewide service development.
You will work collaboratively with clinicians, consumers, carers, universities and research partners to translate research into meaningful outcomes that improve care for people living with Borderline Personality Disorder across South Australia.
ABOUT BPD TEAM-ORIENTED
The BPD Collaborative (BPD Co) state-wide service has been developed in response to the demonstrated need for enhanced, evidence-based BPD service development in South Australia, tailored to the needs of consumers, carers and clinicians.
Implementation of the BPD Co statewide model of care is delivered through a hub-and-spoke model.
BPD Co provides clinical services through consultation and complex care, supports system-wide capacity building through the training program, and delivers a research program in collaboration with key stakeholders across mental health services, government and non-government organisations, and tertiary education partners.
This collaborative approach informs evidence-based practice and supports continuous service improvement.

A skilled research professional with demonstrated experience in qualitative and quantitative research within a health or mental health setting.
A strong communicator who can analyse complex data, prepare high-quality reports and present findings to clinical, executive and academic audiences.
A collaborative and values-driven individual who can engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams, consumers and carers using trauma-informed principles.
A proactive self-starter with excellent project management skills, capable of managing competing priorities and delivering outcomes in a complex environment.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
Lead and coordinate high-quality research, evaluation and data analysis activities that inform evidence-based care and service improvement.
Manage complex research and service improvement projects, ensuring robust governance, reporting, timelines and outcomes.
Translate research findings into practical insights that strengthen clinical practice, policy development and statewide service planning.
Build strong partnerships with clinicians, consumers, carers, universities and external stakeholders to support team-oriented, consumer-centred research.
