About the Opportunity An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Underwriting Assistant to join a collaborative and growing underwriting team within a smaller, supportive business based in Brisbane.
The company also operates with a Gold Coast office, and there may be occasional opportunities to work from that location if required.

While the local team is compact and highly engaged, there is also a well-established offshore support function that assists with processing and administrative workload, allowing the Brisbane team to focus on higher-value underwriting support and stakeholder interaction.

The Role This position supports the underwriting function through a combination of high-volume processing and underwriting assistance.
Key Responsibilities Administrative Support Accurate data entry and documentation management Maintaining organised and compliant records Underwriting Support Working in line with underwriting guidelines Preparing and issuing quotations Managing renewals Supporting underwriters with day-to-day tasks Liaising with both local and offshore teams You will work closely with the wider underwriting team and engage regularly with offshore support functions.
Systems Tools CRM system (primary platform)
