We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Form Reo Pour (FRP) to join a leading contractor delivering complex infrastructure and structural projects across Sydney.
This is a long-term contract opportunity working on major civil and construction projects involving large-scale concrete structures.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in planning and delivering FRP packages on complex structural works and will possess proven experience working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors within the Australian construction market.
The RoleReporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of Formwork, Reinforcement, and Concrete (FRP) activities across major structural packages.
You will play a key role in coordinating site operations, ensuring programme milestones are achieved, and maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities Manage the delivery of FRP packages across complex structural works.
Coordinate formwork, reinforcement, post-tensioning, and concrete subcontractors.
Develop and review construction methodologies, staging plans, and work packs.
Monitor programme performance and drive productivity outcomes.
Prepare and manage ITPs, quality documentation, permits, and project reporting.
Coordinate inspections, hold points, and engineering approvals.
Work closely with site supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
Manage procurement, forecasting, cost control, and subcontract administration.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, Australian Standards, and safety requirements.
Support project managers with commercial and contractual obligations.




Required Experience Degree qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Engineer delivering FRP packages on major infrastructure or construction projects.
Demonstrated experience on complex concrete structures including: Bridges Tunnels Rail infrastructure Marine structures Water infrastructure Major building structures Proven Tier 1 and Tier 2 Australian contractor experience is essential.
Strong understanding of formwork systems, reinforcement installation, concrete placement, and temporary works coordination.
Experience managing subcontractors and site-based delivery teams.
Excellent planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong knowledge of quality assurance and project controls processes.
Desirable Experience on major transport infrastructure projects.
Exposure to D C contracts.
Familiarity with digital engineering and construction management systems.
Previous experience on projects valued in excess of $100M.
