Job Summary Join as a part-time Sonographer, managing various ultrasound procedures, working independently, and supporting junior staff in a scenic North Queensland location.
About the role Our client is seeking a full-time Sonographer to join their team in their brand-new practice, located in the beautiful Central Highlands of North Queensland, just 1.5 hours south-west of Townsville.
The role involves performing a variety of ultrasound procedures, including General, Small Parts, Vascular, MSK, and Pregnancy scans, while working both independently and as part of a team.
Applicants should be efficient in managing their worklist and handling urgent cases, with the potential to supervise and train junior staff.
The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $55 – $60 (negotiable based on experience), 5 weeks of annual leave, and relocation assistance, including accommodation support.
The role is available starting February 3, ****.




Skills and experience Proficient in performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including General, Small Parts, Vascular, MSK, and Pregnancy scans.
Ability to efficiently manage worklists and handle urgent cases in a timely manner.
Experience working independently and collaboratively within a team of medical imaging professionals.
Robust leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and train junior sonography staff.
Current ASAR registration, with a CPR certificate preferred.
