For Technical Business Analysts and Business Analysts to deliver clear, actionable technical documentation and support data-driven projects within a government health data agency.
A full-time contract role, onsite minimum 3 days weekly, within a reputable public sector organisation based in Canberra.
Requires: Experience in technical documentation with proficiency in Visio and Confluence, ability to translate complex discussions into clear requirements, and familiarity with data lakes, ETL, APIs, and cloud platforms.
Salary guide: $75 - $85 per hour.
Location: Canberra region.
Your normal day will involve: Creating accurate technical and process documentation, including process maps, data flow diagrams, and integration specifications.
Translating discussions and high-level input into clear, actionable artefacts such as POCs, RFQ documentation, and tender packs.
Supporting vendor technical evaluations and responding to Q A. Performing gap analysis and documenting current and future state systems, integration points, and data flows involving platforms like ETL and APIs.
Preparing rollout readiness artefacts including data migration and transition plans.
This Technical Business Analyst role requires a structured and detail-oriented individual comfortable working independently to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Using tools such as Visio and Confluence, you'll translate complex conversations into concise,
transparent documentation that supports health and welfare data initiatives.
Your expertise in data analytics concepts, cloud integration, and vendor engagement will be critical to project success.
